Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned business development expert to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

You will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with airport clients across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

We are looking for a candidate who exhibits exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of business development success.

By joining our commercial team, you will contribute to solving our key objectives of expanding Copenhagen's footprint in the market and building high-performing strategic relationships with airport partners.

Our software, Better Airport, enables airports globally to make decisions with confidence and clarity and transform the passenger experience.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Director, you will lead the development and execution of our airport expansion strategy.

You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and client success teams to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.

Your expertise will be essential in understanding customer needs, identifying business opportunities, and developing targeted sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive airport expansion strategy that drives business growth and revenue.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop targeted sales strategies and materials.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with airport decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our product development team to ensure our software meets the evolving needs of our airport clients.
  • Conduct presentations, demos, and sales meetings to communicate the value proposition of our software.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of business development success.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
