Strategic Business Development Manager

Lundbeck A/S, H is seeking a seasoned business professional to lead our commercial efforts across North and Central Europe. As the Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and developing strategies to realise revenue growth.
This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and drive business excellence across the region. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market entry strategies, drive process improvements, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop business cases to identify growth opportunities and create market entry strategies for new products.
- Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency: Lead process improvements and ensure data integrity to monitor market trends.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse and benchmark business performance using key metrics.
Your Future Team
You will report directly to the Marketing & Market Access Director and have the opportunity to oversee and guide a dedicated team member as your direct report. Our goal is to drive impactful strategies that enhance our market presence and support our mission to improve the lives of our patients.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Sales & Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Sales with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical markets including healthcare systems in countries across the region.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate at different levels.
