Lead Geophysical Researcher Position in Advanced Weather Radar Technologies

The Danish Meteorological Institute, a leading authority on weather and climate, is seeking an experienced researcher to join its prestigious Weather Research Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for advancing our understanding of weather radar technologies and developing innovative solutions to improve forecasting accuracy.
Located in Copenhagen, Denmark, our state-of-the-art research facility offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with world-class scientists and researchers. You will have access to cutting-edge equipment and tools, including high-performance computing resources and advanced data analysis software.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in geophysics, remote sensing, or a related field, with expertise in programming languages such as Python, C, and Unix scripting. Experience with machine learning, high-performance computing, and data integration is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from 110,000 to 140,000 DKK per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
