Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Area Sales Manager to support and develop a network of distributors and generate sales for Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR).

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop existing distributors and establish new ones in the region/country.
  2. Lead visits and discussions with end customers to promote MiR products and support distributors to close opportunities.
  3. Lead, grow, and manage a strong pipeline together with the distributors.
  4. Identify new national and international customers and business opportunities.
  5. Responsible for preparation, execution, and achieving ambitious sales budget.
  6. Manage customer relationships, maintain or develop knowledge of the customer organization, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers at various customer stakeholders (functions & levels).
  7. Focus on sales activities reporting, volume planning, and forecasting. Use existing tools for customer visit reports, contract management, and the budget process in an accurate and timely manner.
  8. As a sparring partner for distributors and with a focus on value-based selling, provide in-depth product and application information to distributors with timely advice.
  9. Coordinate and communicate internally with all stakeholders to drive actions and decisions, including the distribution of market information as well as competitive intelligence into the organization.
  10. Collaborate with the technical support department in providing professional after-sales services.
  11. Participate in public relations (PR) and marketing assignments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, with Business qualification as an added advantage.
  • Technical experience in automation and robotics.
  • Fully trained in a technical and/or commercial profession.
  • At least 5 years of technical-related sales experience.
  • Demonstrable success in value-based selling.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Passion for sales and disruptive technology.
  • Highly motivated and result-driven.
  • Display leadership in driving sales opportunities.
  • Relationship builder with strong communication and excellent negotiation and account management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial team player with results-oriented approach who can also work independently.
  • Must be willing to travel, as there will be frequent travel (Expect to have 100+ days of traveling across Taiwan).
