Hempel A/S is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager Insulation Coatings to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with key customers in the Oil & Gas and Chemical Asset Owners sectors.
Main Responsibilities:- Identify and develop strong business relationships with key customers, including Oil & Gas and Chemical Asset Owners, and their subsidiaries.
- Ensure that Hempel's insulation technology is specified with the most suitable and competitive systems within the Asset Owners approval system.
- Maintain a detailed overview of current and future construction and maintenance projects related to our defined product portfolio.
- Initiate and drive all necessary actions with the Hempel sales teams to secure orders for targeted projects.
- Evaluate the performance of Hempel and competitor-approved systems and provide feedback on performance.
- Take an active role in Oil and Gas, NACE forums.
- Ensure projects, MoM, and customer contacts are tracked correctly in CRM.
- At least 5 years of B2B international sales experience with proven success.
- At least 3 years of experience with insulation- and/or corrosion protection paint in sales and/or application process.
- Ability to travel according to business and customer priorities (up to 50% working time).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Excellent project management and coordination.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Self-driven and proactive.
- FROSIO or NACE or other certification would be an asset.
- English required. Other languages like German and/or Spanish preferred.
