Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Research Coordinator & Office Administrator to support the Head of Section of Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen.

About the Role

This full-time position involves overseeing research projects, coordinating meetings and events, managing schedules and daily administrative tasks, and providing strong communication support for the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee research projects, ensuring timely progress and effective collaboration with partners.
  • Office Administration: Manage the Head of Section's schedule, meetings, travel, and daily tasks associated with research and teaching activities.
  • Event Support: Organize meetings, workshops, and events, and assist in preparing reports, presentations, and research dissemination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with managing large research projects, preferably in bioscience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and resource management.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
