Business Development Specialist

Silktide Ltd. is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to expand our sales presence in the DACH region. As a key member of our EMEA sales team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with potential customers.
Job OverviewThis exciting opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for sales development. You will be responsible for conducting research to identify potential new customers, making initial contact, qualifying leads, generating meetings for your territory account executives, and assisting with pipeline generation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential new customers in the DACH region.
- Make initial contact with leads via phone or email and qualify them based on their needs and interest in our services.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and market trends to effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
- Generate high-quality leads and schedule meetings for your territory account executives to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting new markets and expanding our customer base.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid passport is required for potential travel to customer sites and company events.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in sales development within a SaaS company.
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
- A resident of Copenhagen, Denmark, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to make cold calls and craft effective email cadences.
