About the Role

Vattenfall's Business Sales Department is seeking a Key Account Business Developer to further strengthen its position as a partner of choice for Industrial Production clients in the Nordic region.

This role involves developing long-term profitable sales business and customer loyalty within the Nordic Industrial Production client base. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, documented experience in the energy commodity business and B2B sales, and a genuine personal interest in customers and their respective industry challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with customers to improve sustainability and reduce environmental footprints
  • Manage client accounts by identifying and mapping customer needs, offering suitable products, negotiating contracts, closing deals, and managing customer relationships
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in Business Administration, Science, Finance, or equivalent, and be fluent in Danish and English. They will also possess:

  • Strong business development skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of the energy commodity business and B2B sales, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • A self-driven and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
