The Nordic Companion Animal Business Unit Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving business growth in the region. As part of MSD Danmark ApS, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a new go-to-market strategy to enhance the company's market approach.

This position requires a strong understanding of the animal health industry, market trends, and business environment. You will lead a high-performing team, focusing on diversity & inclusion, and ensure effective communication within the team and with other areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving/exceeding financial targets for Companion Animal products across Nordics
  • Establishing and maintaining regular contacts with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders
  • Promoting digital adoption and enabling data-driven decision-making
  • Executing value-creating business development projects

You will work closely with global and regional species leadership in a matrix organizational structure and collaborate with various functions to achieve financial and non-financial objectives.

In this role, you can be based in any of the Nordic markets, with more than 50% travel required. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Health Sciences/Veterinary Science or Business, with a minimum of 5 years of senior line leadership experience.

A proven track record in launch excellence, influence, and transformational leadership is essential. You should be able to identify and develop people within the team and wider organization. Fluency in English is required.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around 1200000 DKK per year, depending on location and experience.
