About the Role

As an Account Executive in our Field Sales Operations organization, you will focus on net new revenue and be crucial for Workday's new customer growth. You will guide new customers in leaving the limitations of legacy platforms behind and moving forward with our enterprise management cloud.

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory.
  2. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
  3. Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise prospects and share Workday value proposition.
  4. Develop relationships with net new customers focusing on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions, particularly core financials.
  5. Negotiate deals with C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect pipeline and service forecast data.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

  • 8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Experience managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders.
  • Prior experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for short and long-term prospecting and territory management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish or Finnish or Danish.
What We Offer

Workday offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer:
