Job Description

At Subaio ApS, we are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating directly with top European banks and leading the charge in bringing our products to market.

Your responsibilities will span understanding and addressing customers' pre-sales requirements, expediting the onboarding process for new customers, and laying the groundwork for long-term scaling. You will work closely with our Sales and Product teams, reporting directly to our VP of Product.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver an Exceptional Pre-Sales Customer Experience: Provide exceptional support to customers, addressing their queries and delivering value propositions.
  2. Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance throughout the pre-sales process, clarifying product specifications and addressing product-related queries.
  3. Demonstrate Value Propositions: Showcase demos, scope use cases, and conduct proof of concepts to demonstrate how our solutions align with customers' business needs.
  4. Act as a Point of Contact: Field product and technical questions, explain standardized materials, and route complex requirements to the appropriate channels.
  5. Create Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs related to common pre-sales inquiries and requirements.
  6. Cultivate Customer Advocacy: Encourage customer advocacy and represent the customer's voice within internal teams, gathering feedback, identifying trends, and integrating insights into product planning.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  1. A minimum of four years of experience in a Sales Engineer (or similar) role, focusing on managing relationships with large, complex organizations.
  2. A proven track record of delivering and scaling an outstanding pre-sales customer experience.
  3. Experience providing advanced support and comprehensive understanding of IT principles and customer requirements for similar technical B2B SaaS products.
  4. Exceptional communication skills, especially when engaging with executives and leaders.
  5. A humble attitude, eagerness to help others, and a desire to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to make both your team and our customers succeed.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, adept at frequent context switching, effective management of multiple projects, and ruthless prioritization.
  7. Experience with answering/writing RFI/RFP answers/documents.
  8. Background in B2B and SaaS solutions, preferably within FinTech.
