As a Sales Manager for Global Marine and Offshore business development at Johnson Controls, Inc., you will be responsible for driving new sales and growth in the marine sector.

The role requires you to find new customers for our HVAC, Refrigeration, and Fire Protection solutions, as well as to execute your Go-To-Market strategy in existing markets.

You will employ enterprise tools and value selling concepts to deliver targeted growth and ensure the effective adoption of Company systems, tools, pricing policies, and sales processes.

You will also work closely with the marketing function to support external communications and tailor customer campaigns as needed.

  • Experience in developing new business through excellent client relationships and proactive planning is essential.
  • Field sales experience and in-depth knowledge of relationship selling, planning, business development, opportunity, and pipeline management are also required.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM application and experience within a large organisation with matrix structures are highly valued.
  • Proven track record of achieving results and closing deals is necessary.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder analysis, enabling you to identify and build relationships with key decision makers and customers at all levels, are required.
  • High level of spoken and written English is necessary.
  • Selling technical service solutions on HVAC/Refrigeration/Fire Protection systems within the Marine market is an advantage.
  • Working with major shipyards and owners is also an advantage.
